I have found a pair for sale. But can not find alot of Info about them. B&W do not list them under there 800 discontinued.( I don't know why, when they were $15K to $17K when new 1990-95) I think that they were 4 omh but could be wrong. Has anyone ever hooked the 800 matrix up to Rotel amps before? If so what did they sound like? I want them for 2ch music on a 7ch HT useing a Rotel 1068 pre , Rotel 1090 for the low end & rotel 991 for the high. a Rotel 1095 on the rears(802 matix s3) & LCR6 S2 center, rear surounds. (I know its OLD School But I love that Matrix SOUND)any Info on the 800 matrix or hooking them up will be very ,very usefull Thanks

Check under Matrix 800 http://www.bwspeakers.com/index.cfm/...20Discontinued
I have an old B&W brochure and yes they are listed as 4 Ohms(minimum3). Power recommendation 150-800w, Freq range 19Hz-21Khz, Sensitivity 93dB.
Hope that helps- Bottom

I saw that my info was useless after Windshear posted the manuals link. Those are some impressive speakers. The set up looks pretty complicated. Getting them delivered must have been interesting! 6 crates!Emotiva UPA-700 Amp
