Kinda cool, but kind of makes them a sell-out at the same time.

What's next? Is B&W going to start selling ad space on the cabinets for Viagra and NASCAR? I think its getting a little weird.

The Viagra might be fitting for the 800 series tweeter, have stand on end when not in use.

They are doing this for musicians at least. B&W are used in so many studios many musicians know of there speakers so maybe there trying to get musicians to be more conscious to hi fi. Lord knows musicians make horrible audiophiles. I once had a guy over who was very good on the guitar (played with a very popular musician some time ago) I sat him down a played some of hi favorite music. He could not have cared less, he thought I was kinda weird having so much expensive equipment.

This is the character from the official FatBoy Slim website. :E Its a little hard to tell from the B&W photos but it appears they may have photoshopped pants on him.

no, they took the photo of him from the front of the album cover where he's wearing pants (luckily).

If I was FBS I don't know if I'd care for the design. I mean it's interesting, but I wouldn't want that guy on my speaker... I'd just have wanted the clouds like they are with maybe my name in the center or something.

                        Who knows.

Course I'd be pissed they didn't make a custom 805s for me!

                                  The above is true...
On the B&W DVD last year a whole slew of musicians agreed to be on the disc in a promotional manner, namely Peter Gabriel (but many others as well)

This kind of thing and B&W is not unusual...

The list of musicians that own B&W speakers is staggering, if they published that list, that might be a sell out... But it's quite discreetly handled, which I think shows class.

There are a whole bunch of speaker companies that would love too sell out but can't get any public appeal ....

Well even if I'm a huge Dream Theater and Dave Holland fan, I would never buy a speaker with one of their albums all over it. I might go as far as a poster on the wall, but not a DT speaker!

Come to think of it I won't even buy clothes with a logo or any endorsement on them (period) Jim777 (2 points) and well said...
