Wow! That must have been one heck of a check! I dont think I could stomach it! Thats why I only buy one thing at a time...it makes me (and the wife) feel as if we not really spending that much (yeah right!).

I did not know Classe made an audio rack??? Any pix or links?

Dont take this the wrong way but why 802D's and only an 2200 to power it? it seems kind of unbalanced.

C'mon. I use a CA-3200 with three 802Ds and it is not underpowered unless you want to drive them beyond domestic usefulness. Works for me.

Have to disagree with Kal on this one. You can easily drive the 802Ds well beyond domestic usefulness with a Classe CA3200 or CA2200. In fact, certain CDs demand it. Quadrophenia sounds best very, very loud for example, and the 3200/802D combo does the job really well. Birdy, your choice is not at all 'unbalanced' - enjoy.

Honestly I don't think so. I made several listening sessions and crancked the volume up to 70 on the CP700 and absolutely no problems, no distorsion except my eardrums a bit disturbed after that ... :P

congrats. excellent hardware and speakers. Don't worry about waiting time, it just makes delivey day more exciting, imagine yourself opening these boxes...., just got my gear after long 4 weeks of anticipation. i had dreamed about it every night...
